Our Brûlé Restaurant, in the main Lodge, is open five nights per week May to June (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday to Sunday) and seven nights per week July to October. BBQ dinners in takeout hampers are available seven nights per week for the entire season. Seating for dinner is between 6 and 8pm – we invite you to linger longer on our screened in porch to enjoy the sunset on a warm summer night. A small lunch menu is available in the Lodge between 12.30 and 2pm.
We run a small kitchen and look to minimise our food waste. We therefore ask you to place BBQ / takeout hamper orders by 2pm at the Front Desk. We will deliver the ready-to-go hamper between 5.30 and 6pm to your cottage – just put the proteins in the fridge, if you want a later dinner. For dinner in our Brûlé restaurant, please reserve your seating by 2pm and let us know of your dinner choices when making your dinner reservation. Please order your Gourmet Picnic Basket the day before, for morning pick up.
For a look at what we serve in the restaurant see our menu. Please note that our menu often changes weekly, so contact our Front Desk for the latest version.
Allergies / dietary preferences
Please advise us well in advance of any allergies or dietary preferences. We can usually find a solution that will work for you and we work with many food allergies (non-life threatening).
Life Threatening Allergies
The only exceptions for the Lodge at Pine Cove kitchen are; life threatening allergies of any type. We are not setup to cater to these. In the case of life threatening allergies, we highly recommend making use of your own cottage kitchen to prepare your own meals. If you are with a group who wants to eat in the restaurant and you have a life threatening allergy, we can arrange for you to bring food you have prepared, to the table – please see our front desk to arrange this. This precaution will help safeguard you more easily, make your stay with us and that of the others in your party, more safe and enjoyable.
From time to time we will interest you with developments at the lodge - projects, competitions, the river & the environment.
