The tubs were made in Mexico. We decided to find out where in Mexico and we found Santa Clara del Cobre and the extraordinary artisans who live there. In the winter of 2017 we drove 17,000 kms to pickup handmade copper bathtubs we had helped design the year before – it was an adventure! Much at the lodge is special and we know the artisans both in Canada and outside who helped us turn the Lodge at Pine Cove into something that is unique, personal and intimate.
