Two bedroom
Harting is large inside with well designed space and cathedral ceilings. A kitchen and eating area are next to a generous living room which opens, through French doors, onto a beautiful cedar screened porch with a hammock. Two bedrooms open off the living space, each with king beds – twins if you prefer. There are lovely views of the water. Harting faces the sunrise and is close to our trail system.

Sun rises to the south of this cottage and sets to the north
Toni Harting and his wife Ria were great friends to the lodge. Both died just a few years ago. An adventurer, author of several books including, French River Canoeing the River of the Stick-Wavers, photographer, aeronautical engineer, prisoner of war, gourmet, songster – Toni led an amazing life. A number of Toni Harting’s books and fabulous black and white photographs adorn the cottage, as they do the lodge. We and the French River miss them both.
