One BEDROOM

A large and private cottage that has splendid views of the French River. The sun sets into this cottage for a good part of the season. A kitchen and dining area open into a living room and then via French doors, onto a screened porch. A few steps down to the master bedroom also has a copper tub & screened porch – leave the doors open on warm nights. A separate bedroom is accessed through a breezeway at the front of the cottage. This is equipped with its own screened in porch & three piece bathroom. One of our finer cottages.

Paul Kane painted Canadian First Nations peoples, in the mid-1800s and his work has contributed to ethnologists understanding of First Nations and pre-modern Canada. Kane travelled the French River several times on his way to the West.
